Frequently Asked Questions

The amount of images we can retouch, inside a day, varies with every project.

You may need only a handful of shots retouched, but to a very high standard. Or, you may need basic editing across a large quantity.

In either case we’ll talk to you when you get in touch to gain a deeper understanding of the projects scope and provide you with an estimate of time and costs.

Pretty much anything!

We can lighten, darken and increase colours. We can adjust the white balance, tonal feel and add cinematic grades. We can overlay effects and textures.

We’re also very skilled at clipping, background removal and advanced photoshop work; including object removal, adding in new elements, and AI manipulation.

A few projects can be costed per image, but most are charged based on time.

If it’s only a couple of images then the cost will be lower. Larger projects may take several days, in which case a day rate will be more cost effective for you.

Post production is the industry term used for retouching images after a shoot.

In the case of just editing your images we usually talk about the work as a ‘retouching project’.

We’ll give you updates whenever you need them.

As standard, we’ll talk to you before the project, and again when the first round of editing has been completed. We’re always here via email, phone and in person. You can be as involved as you’d like.

After we’ve delivered your project (most likely via WeTransfer download, or a shared Dropbox folder), you may need some further images edited, or amended.

Don’t worry, this is very common and all part of the creative process.

Just talk to us and we’ll make those quickly. If it’s a lot more work, or an on-going project we can quote for any extra time needed.
